Our 2012 shine a light on LUNG CANCER vigils will be held on World Lung Cancer Awareness Day – Saturday 17 November 2012.

Thank you to all of our supporters who attended the inaugural Shine a Light on LUNG CANCER vigils in Sydney, Canberra and Perth during November 2011. From little things big things grow, and in 2012 we hope to grow this awareness event from three vigils to ten vigils across the nation.

The aim of our vigils is simple – to provide a collective voice for the thousands of Australians who live with lung cancer and call for earlier diagnosis of lung cancer so that patients and their families can expect better outcomes.

Lung Cancer remains Australia’s biggest cancer killer and these vigils give us an opportunity to come together as a community to provide hope, support and compassion to one another.

Help us raise the profile of this hidden disease, by either joining a vigil or hosting a vigil in your local area. For more information call or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it Kerrie Callaghan on 07 3251 3641.

Shine a Light on Lung Cancer is made possible through a partnership with the Lung Cancer Alliance www.lungcanceralliance.org/shinealightonlungcancer/, a US based non-profit organisation dedicated solely to patient support and advocacy for people living with lung cancer and those at risk for the disease.

Can't join ours? Why not host your own vigil?
