The Australian Lung Foundation is delighted to announce the appointment of Daniela Wilson as Lung Care Nurse.

Daniela is based in the Information and Support Centre and is available four days a week to provide confidential telephone support and information to people living with lung disease.

Daniela has more than 10 years nursing experience and her background is in primary care for chronic disease patients, but primarily respiratory conditions. She has managed patients in different settings, from acute to community and has a deep understanding of a patients experience when living with a chronic condition.

She has been involved in health promotion programs and is passionate about disease prevention. Daniela will focus her attention on both compassionate and professional patient support, as well as promoting lung health and the importance of early screening and intervention.
