Patient Education Days

Held annually in each State and the Australian Capital Territory, Lung Health Education Days provide an opportunity for patients, their families and carers and health professionals to come together to listen to presentations about lung health and other health-related topics.  The format of the Education Days can vary from year to year, but generally includes presentations from three guest speakers who are usually health professionals.

Participants are able to hear information on a range of health topics including how to manage their lung condition, or other co-existing medical conditions, as well as the latest developments in lung health.

Education Days are also a great opportunity for participants to meet and join in with the members of the Patient Support Groups in their State or Territory.

Another facet of the Education Days is the chance for participants to source information on the latest equipment, aids and devices from Trade and Information Displays set up by companies and individuals in the health industry.
