PIVOT has developed an Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis educational brochure, which was published in November 2009.

Although there is no Australian-based organisation which specifically represents pulmonary fibrosis, a useful American organisation exists, called the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation - www.pulmonaryfibrosis.org/ . The Foundation has established online support groups for those affected by pulmonary fibrosis. Go to http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/Breathe-Support/ to access the group moderated by the Foundation, or share information and connect with others with pulmonary fibrosis via their Facebook page: www.facebook.com/PulmonaryFibrosisFoundation

Pulmonary Fibrosis UK www.pulmonaryfibrosis.org.uk  has also established an online group providing support and information for people affected by pulmonary fibrosis: http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/pulmonaryfibrosis
