Our Research

The Australian Lung Foundation, as part of its Mission, raises funds to promote medical research into the cause, treatment and cure of lung conditions.  Our aim is to advance the understanding, prevention and treatment of lung disease in Australia and New Zealand.

How we Award Grants

The applications for all awards are assessed by members of the Education and Research Sub-Committee of The Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand (TSANZ). The judging criteria for each award is detailed on the application form.

 

  

Applying for a Grant

Most of our ‘call for applications' is scheduled for August with a closing date of 30 October and announcement at the next TSANZ Annual Scientific Meeting. If you are a health professional or researcher, The Australian Lung Foundation invites you to apply for any of the Awards below:
