The Australian Lung Foundation relies entirely on voluntary contributions from business, industry and the general public.
We are actively working to improve lung health and prevent lung disease by sponsoring accredited research, educating the public on lung health and fostering support activities throughout Australia to help improve the well being of patients with lung disease.
There are several ways you can help the ALF achieve its goals:
By joining the ALF
The cost of Membership for patients and carers is AUD$40.00/annum (including GST).
A Health Professional Membership costs AUD$60.00/annum (including GST).
The membership period runs from 1 April to 31 March.
Your annual membership fee will help The Australian Lung Foundation to operate and grow. You will receive a membership certificate, a copy of the ALF News and other releases to keep you informed of our activities.

By making a donation
All donations over $2 (Australian) to The Australian Lung Foundation are tax deductible (for Australian residents).
The Foundation is appreciative of all donor support.
Memorial Gifts
Expressing sympathy through a memorial gift to The Australian Lung Foundation will help the Foundation to initiate projects which will help conquer the substantial human and community costs of lung disease in Australia.
All memorial donors receive a letter of thanks from the ALF, and the family of the deceased will be notified that a memorial donation has been made.

Bequests
A bequest to The Australian Lung Foundation is a lasting legacy.
The ALF has committed all bequests to the establishment of a $10.0 million capital base which will ensure the long term operational sustainability of the Foundation, and valuable seed funding of leading edge research projects. Individuals and families associated with the bequest will be placed on the Foundation's special mailing list to be informed of the Foundation's fight against lung disease.

Corporate Alliances
The Australian Lung Foundation is seeking to create strategic corporate alliances with any company concerned about the lung health of its employees, and of all Australians.
The Foundation has a Business Plan to guide future initiatives, and recognises the need for corporate partners to gain a measurable return on their philanthropic or business investment.
The Foundation has created a series of special project concepts devised for corporate Australia's participation, and is happy to establish a new project with a corporation to satisfy mutual objectives.
