I had the great pleasure of attending the opening of the Matt Pusey Photo Exhibition on November 20 in Melbourne.

The opening was standing room only - a large community of family friends, colleagues, Peter Mac nurses and supporters throughly enjoyed viewing and purchasing photographic images from Matt Pusey's travels.

Despite failing health, Matt insisted that his exhibition go ahead and donated all the proceeds from the opening and canvass sales to our patient/carer support network - the Kylie Johnston Lung Cancer Network.

Matt provided many Australians living with lung cancer with hope and understanding via the internet.

Sadly, Matt passed away on November 16 2008 - 4 days before his exhibition opening.

Matt's parents Sue and Peter and partner Cheryl courageously agreed to go ahead with the exhibition and are very proud of Matt's generousity and determination in life and death.
